Welcome to Loving Life Alpine!
Hey there, neighbor! Whether you’re new to Alpine or just new to this fabulous Facebook group, we’re thrilled to have you join the party at the Loving Life Alpine Facebook Group! 🎉
This group is all about connecting our amazing community, sharing local tips, and occasionally debating the best taco spot in town (spoiler: they’re all good). Think of it as the ultimate hangout for Alpine locals—your one-stop shop for events, recommendations, and finding out why that rooster down the road is crowing at 3 a.m.
For even more resources, head over to LovingLifeAlpine.com. It’s like the Swiss Army knife of Alpine living—community events, local business directories, real estate info, and all the insider knowledge you didn’t know you needed.
Got questions? Ask away! Need recommendations? We’ve got opinions for days. Want to share your favorite hiking trail or a photo of your adorable dog? We’re all ears (and paws). The more you connect and contribute, the more this group feels like home.
We’re so glad you’re here—welcome to the Loving Life Alpine family!
Getting Started in the Loving Life Alpine Facebook Group
Group Rules –
The just of the rules is to keep the group helpful and collaborative while keeping the drama out.
We’ve worked to keep the group neighborly for almost 10 years—and come up with this list of rules to encourage fun and helpful posts and comments. They aren’t perfect, but neither are we, and there are times when we even want to break them, but we try not to. If you see a post or comment against the rules but it isn’t removed, don’t assume we are playing favorites. We probably just haven’t seen it. This group can have quite a lot of activity. We encourage you to report posts to assist us in resolving matters efficiently. Whenever possible, assume the good.
Group Moderators
Moderating the group isn’t always easy. We can be a wild crowd. Our moderators are volunteers, so we ask that you be respectful and refrain from complaining to the group if you have an issue. If you have an issue
- Check your messages. We may have already tried to communicate
- Reach out to us through messenger
- Give us some time to respond since this isn’t a full-time job. If all else fails, you can post a question in the group and tag the admins.
You can message the Facebook Page Love Living in Alpine, though those messages aren’t as easy to see on mobile so you can also send a message to Rachell Lara’s personal account.
Power of the Alpine Community
Years ago, I heard a helicopter overhead with a man saying something. I couldn’t understand what the guy was saying (this was before the phone number you could call). I thought, wouldn’t it be great to ask my neighbors instantaneously? Our large lot size here in Alpine makes that pretty hard, and that is how the Loving Life Alpine Group was started. Where you can ask and share about things in the community and have your neighbors be able to engage immediately. In the almost 10 years since the group has answered thousands of questions. It continues to be a great resource for our community, providing news, information, support and hopefully a little fun to the great community of Alpine.
Answer Your Questions
You can find the information you need in several ways.
- Searching for previous posts in the group.
- Asking the question in the group yourself
- Using LovingLifeAlpine.com for business information and recommendations, with more information being added regularly.
